The opportunity to develop a resort hotel at the Links at Crowbush Cove Golf Course was awarded to Rodd Hotels & Resorts in September of 2000.

Although it was very late in the year to attempt to begin the design and construction in order to have the resort open for the following summer, the Owner, Architect and Construction Managers, developed a schedule that could achieve that goal. Although it was a near impossible task, the first rooms were occupied in the cottages on June 15, and the hotel was officially opened on June 30, 2001. The Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort consists of a 5-star, 49 room hotel and 48 cottage style units in 16 separate buildings.

Facilities in the hotel include a grand entry lobby, dining room, bar, fitness room, swimming pool, sauna, outdoor whirlpool, meeting rooms, and a large convention facility. The majority of the rooms are one bedroom suites, all with balconies or walk out decks. Outdoor facilities include tennis courts, boardwalk to the beach, and of course, the golf course itself.

The exterior design of the hotel reflects the vernacular Island style of architecture, yet evokes the image of the grand resort hotels of years gone by. That combination of comfort and familiarity, with a 5-star rating has made the Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort a destination of choice for the discriminating visitor to Prince Edward Island.
